The time is now. Geoff Young was the only Democratic candidate that showed up for the Kentucky Press Association Forum at the Mariott East in Louisville, Friday, January 23, 2015, 9am to 10:15am. Jack Conway would blame a “scheduling conflict” for being a no-show, but Conway would also slight Geoff yet once again in only mentioning the Republican candidates in the midst of his poor excuses. Conway is afraid to debate Geoff, and that's why he was a no-show. On December 28, 2014, Young sent an email out to Jack Conway wanting to debate the topic: “Are Mitch McConnell and Steve Robertson the two most vicious racists in Kentucky?” Had Conway agreed, we would have seen a debate among the Democratic candidates last week. Lived in Boone County, Gallatin County, Mason County, Meade County, Breckinridge County, Campbell County, Fayette County, Jefferson County, and Madison County. *Grew up on a vegetable and tobacco farm 15 miles out from Ghent, on the line of Carroll and Gallatin Counties. *Mostly went to Gallatin County Schools (K-3; 8-12); for a few years, went to Crittenden Mt.
