*The East Baton Rouge Coroner said Alton Sterling was shot in the front and back, and that the entrance wounds in the back are "entrance wounds"

*Blane Michael Salamoni's mother is Melissa Salamoni, a former police captain, who has been with the police force for 32 years

*Blane's father is Noel Salamoni, currently one of six commanders of the Special Operations Unit in Baton Rouge

*Blane graduated from Catholic High School in Baton Rouge in 2006

*a "use of force" complaint filed against Blane when he punched a black man on August 5, 2015, when the black man allegedly tried to grab Blane’s stun gun

*a "use of force" complaint was filed against Blane on June 17, 2015, when Blane injured a Black man when he crashed into a retaining wall 

*a letter of caution was issued to Blane Michael Salamoni in a June 13, 2012, for a "preventable crash".  This preventable car crash has already been expunged off of Blane's record already
